Moonta Trip

Just got back from Moonta, was a pretty good weekend it seemed for a little while, that it wasn't going to happen. On friday Angelina started coming up in red spots, so she had to go to the doctor and it turned out she had chicken pox. The doctor (or Alison's mum's translation of the) advice was not to go, and if the fever got to bad to take her to the local hostpial.

We decided to go anyway, as she didn't seemed to be hit to badly with it, the only real issue we had in the end was that she wouldn't sleep, which pretty much kept Ali awake for two nights stright and we missed out on some 'quality' time.

But still was a good weekend, I had fun cooking stuff and just relaxing, before I start the torture of 12 hours shfits next week.

Holiday!

Taking a short break for the weekend, going with Ali and Angelina to Moonta Bay. Have been there quite a few times before, was actully my parents favourate place to stay when I was a kid, so I guess I have allot of good memories up there. My parents had a habit of always going when it's freeezing though, most of my memories have been of running aorund there collecting pinecones etc for the fire.

Alison has never been there before so will be fun taking her somewhere new...even if it's freezing! Ofcourse it's now two in the morning and I really should be asleep supposed to be going in 8 hours!

Star Wars!

Well had a fun day today, went to see star was with Ali and a ocuple of guys from work. We decided it was best to see it first up at the 'Gold Class' seats. Was great fun, ordered the food and alcahol, then you decide what times you want it brought out to you. The seats were big electric relciners...oh and the movie was good to!

cant think of a topic

Have had a good few days, been on annual leave from work all last week and will be next week aswell. Have spent sometime everyday wit Ali and we are still getting along well and not sick of each other yet.

Booked a holiday at moonta for next weekend, going to a house I ve rented with guys from work a few times, its a nice place and right near the beach.

Clealand

Had a good night last night and day today... went to alison's parents place last night, her Dad was away and her Mum escaped upstairs as soon as I came over. I brought gelati along with me, which earned me some brownie points :)

Was watching telly for a while when Anglina woke up and ali had to see to her, took heran hour or so to come back...she was amazed I stayed (was actully watching foxtel and really didnt mind) so more brownie points there!

Ended up goign home after midnight, got to bed at about 3 then went back to Alison's at 10 to go to clealand (australian wildlife park). Spent a few hours following kangaroos around, which angelina seem to enjoy. Was a really nice day for it to, probably one of the few left before winter sets in.

Went out to tea with my friend scott, and played a quick game of pool...which I won so that made me happy ;)

Actully a little worried at the moment, havnt heard from Alison tonight which is wierd for us, she was going out with friends so hope everything is ok, shes probably just zonked and went stright to bed, just me being paranoied :)

A walk in the park..

Busy day today... got ali home at 1 am, her parents had called wondering if she was ok, guess they arnt used to her having a social life just yet.

Went go karting at lunch time, was great fun... ended up coming second in both races, but I am blaming the cars for that..I think number nine has a nitro boost or something, just could keep up with the dam thing.

Had a break for a couple of hours then met ali at her house to go for a walk with her and Angelina in the Botanic gardens. Was fun, getting little late so half of it was closing but we had a good walk and angelina seem to enjoy herself.

Had dinner at frost bites (little pub which also sells frozen cocktails) , then went back to Ali's parents place, I kinda escaped early felt like there might be a domestic any second...so thought it was best to duck out while the going was good?

going smoothly....

Things are going well, have met Alison's daughter Angelina and that went well. Think it worked because we didn't do anything to much out of her routine, I just kinda tagged along with whatever her and Alison did.

She's pretty quick though, saw stright away that Alison and me were holding hands and questioned that and then looked like she was going to die of shock when Alison kissed me goodbye. Today she was quite happy to chat to me, and doesn't seem to be shy around me, this I am told is a major thing for her....so guess that's a major hurdle out of the way

Alison's parents are worried that things are going a little to quick, so we have decided its best to cancel the 'meet the parents' dinner for the time being. ALso going to have to stop messenging each other 20 times a day!

We are getting along so well though, and I ve always been in a believer in "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" so it's hard to find a balance between being 'addicted' and being 'obessive' about each other?

bored....

Trying to make myself tired enougth to sleep after a night shift.....really wished I hadnt left a bottle of wine at mariels last week...might of been handy right now!

Things are still going ok, meeting Alison's little one on Wednesday which should be a big test, surpised she's decided to do this so quick...thought it would be months yet, but also hope this is a sign she thinks of me as something more then just a little fling!

Date 4! or is it 4.5? Who cares!

Excellent night tonight, we went to a Koren place for tea where you cook your own meal which was pretty nice.

We were meant to go bowling but in the end the bowling alley was full and wouldn't let us in for another 2 hours... so ended up going back to my pace to watch a movie.......

Ended up being late for work, but we had...fun... and decided that we are now officaly a couple....which is a hell of a turn around from last saturday, and pretty unexpected..

Biggest hurdles now are meeting the parents, as Alison has actully decided to listen to them, so I guess that means if they hate me I am buggered? And ofcourse there Angelina her daughter who might also hate me.... long way to go yet

Date 3.5!

Well busy day today, came off night shift took friends Rebecca and Jason to the airport, lucky things are going to queensland for a week in the sun. They have also just announced rebecca is pregnant and due in November. Also means they can't go on any theme park rides now! Always a catch!

Got home, planned to go into a meeting at work at 10.30 but made it to ten and feel asleep,
Alison then called me at 3 ish to see if I wanted to pop out with her for an hour. So ofcourse I jumped out of bed semi concious, showered dressed, shaved, contact lenses and all important teeth brushing and extra listerine. All in the space of about 15 minutes

Anyway managed to look alive enougth and we went for a trip to the parade to do some very domestic activities but was good, nice to just hang out instead of the pressure of a 'date'.

Alison is becoming much more relaxed now I think, hopefully it stays that way! She named today date 3.5...might start losing count soon

Possible Date 4!

hmm well things got sort of turned around tonight, it seems we "suck" as friends. So we are going to try the going slow thing once again.

To help with this process I ve suggested bowling, as there isnt many bad things you can
do bowling, so temptation will not be there.....kinda.

Was orginally meant to be Friday but that's now changed to Thursday, presuming this
means she keen to see me again...well that's the theory I am going with anyway :)

But after talking for 3 hours tonight I think we might be on some kinda right track?

hangover's over

Well ended up having far to many drinks on Saturday, still sort of recovering from that one. Had dinner at the casino, which is all you eat but didn't feel to good near the end...think I only managed three desserts :(

Spoke to Alison today, we are going to try the friends thing, not sure if it's going to work but she's a nice girl who I don't want to totally lose. So will see how things go.
